The Yaesu FT-8900R is a quad band mobile ham radio transceiver that covers 10 meter FM, 6 meters, 2 meters, and 430mhz!  All these bands fit in a nifty mobile sized unit, that's small enough to fit in nearly any vehicle mounting arrangement!  It also has cross-band repeater feature and dual receive!  It also had a "built in" duplexer, which meant higher quality crossband operation without interference or receiver desensing! 

You truly get a lot in this small package, the Yaesu FT-8900R is a perfect do it all package for no code technicians and hams that want to cover all the popular 10 meter and up bands in a single radio!  It offers 50 watts RF output on all bands except for 430mhz where the power output drops to 35 watts.  For those looking to conserve energy, this quad band mobile offers 4 adjustable power settings of 5, 10, 20, and 50 watt increments.
